Getting Started

See our About page to get some general ideas on the concepts of the game. You should then visit the Classes page and select a class you believe would be approachable to your style. To proceed through the game, you can refer to our Locations page for an overview of the recommended route, or check out the Walkthrough provided.

  • What is the best class?

There is no one best class, and they are all highly customizable. It could be said that the Solace magic tree can be the safest, since it provides healing and buffing spells for your character, but your performance in combat will be highly tied to your weapon, armor and attributes choices. Please see our Charcter Builds page to get ideas from other players.

  • Where is the jump button?

You can hold down X to sprint and then tap it again to jump.

  • Is there a level cap in Lords of the Fallen?

The highest grindable level is 171 but you can use attribute shards to go past that. level 171 requires 2,147,483,647 exp to obtain, however there are only three game cycles: NG, NG+ and NG++

  • Can you sell items?

You cannot sell items. There are no merchants or currency

  • Where should I go after I beat ___?

You can follow our Game Progress Route .

  • What is a good weapon?

Please see our Weapons page and note Weapon Terminology for helping with your choice. Weapons have different movesets and attack speeds, and your playstyle will affect which is your favorite. We recommend choosing a weapon with a preferred moveset and then building your character around it.

  • What is the white number and percentage in the bottom left of the screen?

The number is how long you need to get back to claim your exp and the percentage is how much exp is left as exp bleeds away.
