Hammer_Grey-Icon.png "People have always come up with most peculiar ideas for things they wish to take with them to the grave. This hammer wasn't one of these ideas."

Obtained From: the Heirloom Hammer is mentioned in Audio Log: Sven's Hammer. It tells you that it is located in cell 11 of the Cell Circle. To find it you must kill the enemy in that cell and then sprint at the breakable wall and then block to ram through it. After you acquire it, you can further upgrade it by taking it to the Mines at the bottom of the Catacombs and placing it upon a tomb there. See the videos at the bottom of the page for guides.

Upgrading

Socketing is the process of embedding a rune into the available slot in your weapon. An empty rune socket looks like this: socket.png . Please see the relevant runes page to find what upgrade is best for your build.
Weapons and armor may have up to three sockets. There is no cost for socketing an empty slot although you must be at the crafter
You can remove a socketed rune and save it in your inventory, and thus you can place a new rune on a socketed weapon.

I got the hierloom hammer and my damage was 85. Now I went to the catacombs and put the hammer on the chest and nothing changed with my attack power. Not to mention that my faith is 16. What did I do wrong?
