Usage

Unlocks a chest outside of the Portal area where you fight Infiltrator.
Unlocks a chest in the western Anti-chamber where the lever is located

Location

Dropped by killing enemies.

  BUT I have this key not acquired and I cannot open the chest next to the western lever ...

  The western anti-chamber chest key opens that chest to get armor. I believe it's the eternal legend gauntlets and greaves, but I don't remember.
