Walkthrough


Story in Lords of the Fallen consists of three layers. The top-line story is conveyed by the dialogues and cutscenes. World information and lore can be mainly learned through audio notes scattered across the game. Additionally, every item in your inventory contains flavor text that further fleshes out the world that surrounds the player.
You play as Harkyn - a convict that has been let out of prison to help fend off the Rhogar invasion. Together with your jailer, Kaslo, you reach the Keystone Monastery, where Antanas, leader of humans, is hiding. You and Kaslo are the only ones who survived your travel to the Monastery. MapScrollIcon_small.png 1 The first enemy that you will face is a Rhogar Marauder - an aggressive type of demon. You can skip the combat and movement basics tutorial if you feel like you don’t need it, but bear in mind that Lords of the Fallen does not feature a “replay tutorial” feature. Next you can either talk to MapScrollIcon_small.png 2 Kaslo upstairs to get some lore insight, or find a door downstairs that leads to the rest of tutorial area - this area is where you need to look for the Giant Key that opens your path further - to the first boss arena. The Giant Key is in the part of tutorial area that’s called Cellars MapScrollIcon_small.png 3 .

First Warden is the first of the Lords - commanders of the Fallen God’s army. Their traversal to the human realm requires vast amounts of energy, therefore their appearance is often accompanied by an explosion. Fighting the first Lord serves as an initiation ritual for Harkyn. You next goal, is the boss - First Warden MapScrollIcon_small.png 4 . Before you enter the arena, you can talk to Kaslo to get your potions refilled. After you have defeated a boss, the way further on, out of the arena is just opposite the door you entered.

Item Walkthrough

  • Objective: Find Kaslo. Go up the stairs and to the right to trigger a conversation with Kaslo, who has freed Harkyn from his prison. You can discuss some of the initial game lore such as learning about Antanas. A locked door keeps you from progressing, it needs the Giant Key. You will find an audionote to the right of Kaslo The Guard
  • Objective: FInd a Key. Go back down the stairs and through the door on your right. Kill the enemy and proceed right: watch out for the ambush around the corner. Don't go down the stairs yet, instead follow the path to a game tip about stealth and defeat the enemy. Here you will find the audionote The Sick. You may now go down the previous stairs and dispatch the two enemies. Then break the bookshelves to your left to reveal an opening in the wall. Roll through to a secret room with a chest that contains an Empty Bottle. Go back upstairs and through a passage to the next enemy. Behind him, the note Monk Notes awaits you.
    A little further ahead, you will find a Dimension Portal. These are used to access special treasure areas after defeating bosses.
    To the right of the portal is a set of stairs leading to a more challenging enemy. defeat him (backstabs are very effective) and continue upstairs to loot an Energy Shard. From here, we'll backtrack to where the second audio note was and go down a flight of stairs until you see the Cellars notification. Two enemies will awake to attack you, and you can obtain the Giant Key after dealing with them.
  • Objective: Return to Kaslo and open the Door. Backtrack to where Kaslo was and open the door.
    Defeat the First Warden boss.
  • Objective: Find Kaslo. "Kaslo is alone and wounded. Find him before it's too late".
    You may now approach the checkpoint shard and access the Character Development menu to level up your attributes and magic. You should then return to the Northern Wing and find the Challenge Portal. There are chests in this portal containing: Empty Disciple trinket, Empty Bottle, Bulwark Shield, Ghost Merge Shard, Magic Energy Shard, Energy Shard and Small Sealed Rune. Beware that the enemies will respawn when you return from your looting, so fight your way back to the checkpoint.
  • From the checkpoint, make your way down the stairs in the next room. You will come across two doors, one open, the other not. Go through the unlocked door on the right, and collect the items. In the adjoining room, there's a breakable wall. Don't worry about it for now, you'll return here later. Instead, leave via the other door. Now, as you walk down the stairs in front of you, look at the statue in the center of the stairway. You'll see an item floating just behind the statue. Jump to it, and you'll get the Northern Monastery Wing Door Key.
  • From here, backtrack all the way to the door that required the Giant Key, and face the stairs, with the doorway on your left. Head to the right of the stairs, and there is a small ledge with a white cloth hanging over it (it may take a little bit of camera movement to see it). Jump to the ledge, and follow the path. Jump the gap when you reach it, and open the door. Inside this room is the Shard of Heroes, which can be used on one of the three statues in the Square of Heroes. It is best to obtain it now, as obtaining it later can be harder as stronger enemies show up later on.
  • Once you have the Shard, head back to the stairwell with the statue in the middle, and go all the way to the bottom, and exit through the wooden door to the Monastery

Walkthrough

Downstairs you will find an exit from the Keystone Citadel, right onto the snowy exterior of Keystone Monastery MapScrollIcon_small.png 5. Saving the injured monk will let you meet him later in the game. Be mindful of your interactions with NPCs, as they can give you additional quests and change the flow of the game. Out at the Wall Gates, there are two levers that open the gate MapScrollIcon_small.png 6 . There’s also a monk inside the gate MapScrollIcon_small.png 7. The first tower just ahead from the gate contains some loot to find, but the main path forward is to the next part of the walls, where you find a Gauntlet MapScrollIcon_small.png 8 . Also, around the place where you found a Gauntlet, look back to open a shortcut if you will want to skip the horde of enemies later. Whether Harkyn likes it or not, he’ll be crossing paths with Yetka on several occasions. It’s hard to predict where and when she appears and what her motivation really is. When you reach the second tower, going left is both a savepoint before next arena, and Yetka MapScrollIcon_small.png 9 - an NPC with her own side quest. Make sure you use the savepoint after the dialogue with the NPC, unless you wish to backtrack from the Wall Gates if you die. Going right takes you onto and into the tower with all its interesting secrets, shortcuts and challenges. The path past the savepoint, leading through the gate with an NPC standing in it, is where the last boss fight is. Defeating Commander MapScrollIcon_small.png 10 , the second boss, opens the path just opposite the gate where you entered the arena, leading towards the Guard Captain NPC MapScrollIcon_small.png 11 Harkyn and Guard Captain have met before. They have good reasons to dislike each other. The main path from here leads by the Citadel walls, left from the statue with a brave Knight facing a Snake (symbol of death). After reaching the Shard close to the back entrance to the Citadel (closed now), head on through the gate and the path leading down towards the third, Burned Watchtower. Heading on past the Watchtower and further down to the Cemetery Gates leads to finally meeting Kaslo MapScrollIcon_small.png 12 . Defeating the Worshiper at the Cemetery MapScrollIcon_small.png 13 will open your path to the the Abandoned Temple, a place where you will cross into the demon realm. Return to Kaslo after having killed the boss.

Item Walkthrough

Wall Gates
There is a checkpoint to your left. Afterwards, defeat the enemies in the courtyard. and head up each flight of stairs. Two harder enemies await you here and they each guard a lever that will open the gate below. A barrel near the left-side lever hides a small sealed rune.
After opening the gate, you will meet Injured Monk, this NPC has been bitten by a spider and will die if you don't cut of his hand. You can chose to assit him and severe the limb, or not.
    • Cutting his hand will reward you with experience and trigger the option to give the monk a health potion for a further 500xp. Doing this ensures you meet him later!.
After the monk, take the door to your right and defeat several enemies. be mindful of the demon spiders in the area. Some of the barrels hide an Energy Shard, and a chest near them holds the Hot Blood Armor Set. The passage below lead to the Northern Wall. Ahead of you, an enemy will reanimate while a crossbow rhogar hits you, so plan your advance. Once you have defeated them, you may enter the Nothern Watchtower. The bottom floor of the tower will have two enemies and a Lightning Resistance Shard, as well as a locked chest that requires a small rune to open. The Chest will give you Attribute Point Shard and the Live Elements Armor Set. Next to the chest is a locked door ((requires Tower Key key)) and ahead of it the audilog Ninth Night. Up the stairs there is another enemy waiting for you, a Magic Energy Shard hidden in a barrel, and the bridge leading to the gate you had opened earlier. Take a right from that first enemy and go towards the glowing object to obtain your Gauntlets. To the left of the item there is an audiolog: Gauntlet. After you have obtained it, two enemies will appear from ahead. One is an aggressive rogue type and the other an archer. Lure one enemy back to dispatch by himself. Then backtrack to the bridge near the Wall Gate and Injured Monk to find a chest amongst a group of three enemies. This chest contains the Symmetry Armor Set

On towards the archer that you left alive at the Main Wall, a small lever on the wall directly behind the Gauntlet opens a shortcut to the North Watchtower. After you have unlocked it, head towards the archer on the South Watchtower and up a set of stairs, towards a checkpoint. As you approach, a cutscene with Yetka will play. You may chose to let her kill or save the monk. After your conversation with her, go back to kill the archer and then down the stairs to find an enemy and the audilog Fancy Looks. Also in this room there is a chest with Lethal Secrets and a Fire Resistance Shard. Note the anvil next to the chest: this will be a blacksmith spot later on, once you have encountered the Crafter. The room behind this holds the Live Elements Chest Armor and a Magic Energy Shard on a chest. On the side of this room, you can drop down to obtain the Tower Key. Down the ramparts, there is a locked door behind which the audiolog Sixth Night is placed. Further ahead, behind an axe Rhogar, a chest holds the axe Fate. You may jump across the small gap and turn left to kill an enemy, jump a gap, and get to a chest with the Prejudice staff and a Small Sealed Rune. Then backtrack to access to the North Watchtower's lower levels. After defeating several enemies in the room, pick up Yetka's Dagger and open a nearby chest for the Hot Blood Wrist and Legs and the Pain Hammer. The stairs up return you to the locked door you had encountered earlier.

Before this area, in the Southern Watchtower there is a room with a Demon Spider. The room has a chest with a Spike and a Magic Energy Shard. If you are too weak to fight the spider, run past it and up the stairs, then you can head back to Yetka to return her dagger and obtain 800xp and the Catacombs Key from her.

You may now enter the Square of Heroes and defeat the Commander boss. Then make your way through the stairs up to the Memorial. Here, the Guard Captain will refuse you entry into the Citadel. and send you to find Kaslo at the Graveyard.

Progress beyond the Guard encounter and take a left outside the building to go through the dimension portal. After completing it, the Bloody Flint is visible in a path ahead marked as 10 on the map and further ahead a dead end with the audionote Fourth Night. Head back towards the portal and find the other way to go, then pick up the audionote Last Night.near a statue. Killing some more enemies will return the objective "Find Kaslo" and place you near the checkpoint of the area marked as number 31 on the map. Look right to the checkpoint and there's audionote Guard Notes - but be mindful of the enemy ambush!. The door next to this is locked, and requires the Southern Trench Key. If you go left there is the Backside Entrance to the Citadel. There are some tough enemies guarding a sealed rune chest. It contains Guardman and an Empty Bottle. There is also a breakable wall to the left of the entrance to the Citadel that contains Blind (you may not be high enough level to kill these enemies at this stage).Continuing forward will take you to the Outer Walls and face you against heavy shield enemies. It is recommended you run-jump to attack them. After two of them, you will find an infested enemy and to his left the entrance to the Burned Tower. At the top of this tower, marked as number 12, is the Beacon, which you can now light for 1000xp. At the bottom of the burned tower, hides a chest with an Empty Bottle, Heavy Shield and Buckler. Use a nearby lever to unlock a shortcut. After unlocking the shortcut, going back to the base of the stairs leading into the circular room from outside, there is a dropdown to another chest containing an Empty Bottle, a skill point shard, and the Guard's Greatsword weapon ( confirm name). The path from the chest holds the audionote Grim Graves, and further down, a drop off leading into the graveyard and the Worshipper fight described below. Continue down (or returning after the fight if chasing secrets) towards the Graveyard and note number 32 on the map, the dimension portal (now closed). Next to it, a chest contains Ghost Merge Shard, Steel Dagger and Steel Sword. There's a checkpoint near you and you can find a Human Skull item hidden next to it. Talk to Kaslo and then face the Worshiper boss.

In the boss arena, you will find 4x Human Skull, the audionotes Temple and Kyle's Grave. Remember to go back to the Dimension Portal of the area (outside after Kaslo, bactracking towards where you met the guard, up some stairs). This portal is a "proving grounds" challenge, and It will have: Back Breaker, Attribute Point Shard and Spell Point Shard

Keystone Monastery Revisted


After killing Beast and doing all of the things there are to in the Citadel you will leave through the door at the bottom of the stairs at the end of the main hall (there is statue near it and a couple of NPCs).

Backside Entrance

Exiting the door, there are two large shield enemies here and a breakable wall on the right (if you didn't earlier on). Continue on and kill the enemies. There will be a sealed rune chest on your right containing Guardman and an Empty Bottle (if you didn't open it earlier on). Head straight past the checkpoint and down towards the Graveyard. The Dimension Portal right outside of it ill now open because Beast is dead. Inside is an Infinite Void that requires you to follow the light around a very dark area. You will die if you don't stay near it. You will be attacked by two Rhogar at one point and then the light will disappear over a chest containing a Poison Resistance Shard. Once done there head into the graveyard, kill the enemies and head into the Catacombs.

Walkthrough

Even though your quest is to reach Antanas, you can’t ensure his safety with Rhogar Lords still spawning in the Keystone Monastery. You have to destroy whatever they are using traverse dimensions, before you can meet Antanas. You enter the Rhogar Realm and will meet a number of new, interesting species. The Crafter is a being that evolved and learned how to travel between dimensions. You will also get to learn that not all Rhogar are built to fight, but it seems all of them want to. After entering the Temple, straight ahead from the entrance, you will finally meet the mysterious Crafter MapScrollIcon_small.png 14 . continuing further on will lead you towards a closed gate MapScrollIcon_small.png 15 . To open it, explore the towers on both sides and find a hidden lever in each one of these. Pulling both levers opens the gate into The Holy Flame, but for now, just go through it and upstairs onto The Panorama, from where you can find a passage down to the Abandoned Range MapScrollIcon_small.png 16 below. Entering the Temple interior by the side door MapScrollIcon_small.png 17 will lead you to stairs just before the Infiltrator MapScrollIcon_small.png 18 . Defeating the boss will give you opportunity to talk to the side quest Rhogar NPC MapScrollIcon_small.png 19 - the only demon in the game that can actually communicate... kind of. You will have a choice whether you want to save the deserters or not. Obviously, your decision will affect the outcome of the game. Past the Rhogar NPC is the door and path leading to the front exit from Temple interior MapScrollIcon_small.png 20 (and a bunch of deserters outside with their own side quest). Your goal now is to head back to the Keystone Monastery through the portal at the end of The Bridge Between Dimensions MapScrollIcon_small.png 21 that you entered through.

Back at the Monastery, you can finally head towards the main part of the Citadel. A dying soldier will point you to a secret entrance through the Catacombs. The closest entrance is the gate marked with Three-Headed-Snake at the Cemetery MapScrollIcon_small.png 22 (on the Monastery map)

Second Visit to the Temple

The Abandoned Temple has changed since your last visit. And the real nest of Rhogar lies even deeper. When you decide to enter the Abandoned Temple, Yetka MapScrollIcon_small.png 39 will ask you to follow her. At this point you can either proceed to the Flame arena and fight the Guardian boss MapScrollIcon_small.png 30 or follow Yetka to the arena where you fought The Infiltrator boss, where you will gain access to a tower outside the arena MapScrollIcon_small.png 31 . Each of these two paths will give you access to a part of the Chamber of Lies - use the Gauntlet to open the seal. You will have to explore both parts of the Chamber to pull two levers MapScrollIcon_small.png 38 that will pave way to the Primeval Armorer MapScrollIcon_small.png 32 , but the order is up to you. Once you reach the Primeval, Yetka’s quest will reach its conclusion and you will be allowed to proceed to the last Boss - Annihilator MapScrollIcon_small.png 33 .

When you defeat The Annihilator, you will now be able to face Adyr - the god. After your encounter, Kaslo will appear and explain that something’s happening in Keystone. You will be sent inside the Citadel. --> Continue to Keystone Citadel

Item Walkthrough

Affter you meet the crafter, walk forward toware Yetka. After your conversation with her, head left and open a chest in the Western Antechamber that contains Wisdom Armor Set Chest and Helmet. Head down the stairs and take a left, defeat the demon dog and notice the closed gate. You'll come back here later. Now continue the way you came from and open another locked door, you will be attacked by an enemy throwing firebombs. Defeat it and find another set of stairs leading up, with a crossbow enemy. After the enemy is dead, scout this level of the building to find a Poison Resistance Shard. You will come back here once you have obtained the Small Western Antechamber Key and can unlock this door for: Ancient Plate, the legs of the Cunning Armor Set and an Attribute Point Shard. Back in the bottom level, a gate can be opened to exit the room. The following room contains a locked chest, that needs the Blacksmith's Chest Key to unlock. Pull the lever and head back to Yetka's position and towards the Eastern Antechamber.

Jump across the gap directly in front of the entrance to obtain a Magic Energy Shard. Drop down and defeat the three enemies awaiting you. Find stairs leading up and look for an indented part of the floor that holds an Energy Shard. This same room allows you to jump across a gap towards a room with a rogue enemy and a chest, that contains the Lost Pike. You can now head down to the lowest floor and find a sideroom with two enemies and another lever for you to pull and the Ancient Plate Quest Item. You can now return to the checkpoint shard, and you will find Yetka is gone. You can now access the Heart of Flame and fight your first Tyrant. As soon as you enter the open area look to your left and destory the pot, and pick up the Tyrant Heart. If you do not do this, the enemy will not die. Defeating the Tyrant will grant you the Small Western Antechamber Key. (See above)

Eternal Flame

Proceeding through the Eternal Flame, go right to fight a Demon Dog and pick up an Empty Bottle. After dealing with the remaining two enemies, head up the ramp.

The Panorama

Go right to pick up a Small Sealed Rune, then left past the Last Traitor Statue. There will be some enemies and then another open circle area (similar to Eternal Flame). Kill the 2 difficult enemies there and open the chest on the right side containing Lurker Thrust. Also grab the lore, Rifts, on the left. Go down the stairs and kill the shield guy and open the 2 shortcuts and face the Wizard, who drops Two-Horned Shield, if you feel up to it and grab the Ancient Plate and open the sealed rune door with an Empty Bottle in the chest inside.

 

 

Ancient Caves

Head back to the Last Traitor Statue and head down the snowy pathway to its left. Kill the enemy at the bottom and go right to the checkpoint. Past the checkpoint there is a dark cave with many pitfalls. You will find a Fire Resistance Shard if you go right, followed by a Spider. Behind the Spider is an Ancient Plate. To the left is a baby Spider and a large one on the ceiling. After killing them, loot the staff Conceit from a chest on the left. Go back the way you came, but hug the right wall of the pitfall cave and head to the back towards the chest holding Griffin Legs, Spellpoint Shard and Poision Resistance Shard.

Abandoned Range

Head back to the checkpoint and go straight and then left kill the enemies there (watch out as there are some in the bushes) and pick up the Magic Energy Shard and open the chest to receive Wisdom Legs, Wrist and the greataxe: Swing. Head back the way you came and head up to the ridge on the left (be careful, there are 3 Hounds and 1 Hound Master). Grab the Energy Shard and the lore, My Treasure, behind where the Hounds are. Keep heading along the ridge and kill the 2 archers. Open the chest to acquire the Griffin Head and Wrist. Break the Urn and grab the Tyrant Heart, then head down to fight the Tyrant below. Past the Tyrant is an Energy Shard on the ground to the right and on the cliff to the left, if you look carefully there is another Energy Shard. Keep heading up the path and open the door with the switch.

Sacred Hallways

Kill the enemy directly ahead and if you are feeling up to it, kill the large Rhogar to the right and use the pressure plate near the locked chest (opens with the Blacksmith's Chest Key) at the end of the hallway to open an iron gate near where you first came in. Inside that room is a chest containing the Cunning Head, Chest and Wrist. Drop down and collect the Ancient Plate. Go down the stairs and face the Tyrant, his Tyrant Heart is behind him to the left (be careful not to aggro the other Rhogar to your left). Use the lever to the right of the Heart to open the door ahead. There are two Spiders inside and the lore, Cruel Species and a chest containing Griffin Chest, Ghost Merge Shard and Poison Resistance Shard. Head back through the door and down to the right. Kill the 2 Rhogar there and grab the checkpoint. Past that is Infiltrator.

The Portal

Once inside The Portal you will fight the Infiltrator Lord. Upon defeating him you will acquire the Crystal of the Traveler. Uras and Sealed Big Rune will be laying next to Yetka on the ground. If you give Yetka your Ancient Plates she will give you 5 shards (Energy, Magic, Poision, Fire and Lightning). Head back the way you came and go through the Dimension Portal that is now open (in the Sacred Hallways). There are 3 chests containing: Empty Bottle, Codex, Small Sealed Rune 2x, Magic Energy Shard & Energy Shard.

Sacred Hallways

Head back to The Portal and do an immediate 180 and speak with Crippled Rhogar, who will tell you to bring him 15 Human Skulls in exchange for a shield ( Stance). To the right of Crippled Rhogar is a lever that opens a shortcut to the Ancient Caves. Pull it and head back and to the left of Crippled Rhogar and up the stairs. There will be a Tyrant, whose Heart will be behind a Rhogar Archer up another set of stairs. Kill them, grab the Heart and pull the lever that opens the door leading back to the Panorama.

The Panorama

Immediately after heading through the door you will hear moaning on the left. There are a group of Deserts that will give you xp if you give them a Health Potion and will give you a quest to help clear the path back to the the Bridge Between Dimensions. You can kill them to get some weapons ???, but it is difficult. If you help them, they can help you in the Guardian boss fight later on (you need to kill the tree looking Rhogar in the Western Antechamber). There will be a lone Hound near the Last Traitor Statue, if you attack him he will run off (vanish). Head down the snowy path to the left of the statue and all the way to the left. He will be there and you will be ambushed. Defeat the ambush and you will receive the Trinket: The Keep. You can now head back through the Rhogar Portal and are ready to head to the Catacombs.

Return to Abandoned Temple

 

Bridge Between Dimensions

Things will have changed some since you were last here. Many of the enemies are much stronger. You will notice there is now a Tyrant on the bridge in front of you. Run by him, break the urn, collect the Tyrant Heart and then kill him to get another Small Western Antechamber Key. Press on and kill the Wizard and speak with Yetka by the checkpoint. Head into the Western Antechamber. If you saved the Deserters they will be here and will give you 3 Human Tattoos if you tell them to head out and the Amulet of the Betrayer. Go down the stairs and do an immediate 180 to your left. Unlock the door with the key you just opened, grab the lore, Shards and open the chest to reveal Burden and Eternal Legend Legs and Wrist.

Eternal Flame

Head into the Eternal Flame and fight Guardian. You will receive Firewalker and Big Sealed Rune for defeating him. His Dimension Portal will now open nearby.

Inside is an Infinite Void. In the Infinite Void, head towards the fire and kill the enemies there. There are rune trails on the ground, one goes left and the other right. Go Left and follow the runes, killing the enemies along the way. You will come to 3 chests. If you open them left, right, center they will stay lit. If you open them in any other order, you will be attacked and defeating the enemies will reward you with ??. Head back to the fire. Be careful as more enemies will be there and they are much more powerful. Kill the Tyrant and collect the Tyrant Heart. There will now be a chest here containing Fly and a Magic Energy Shard. Now go the right and follow the runes and kill the enemies in the flame circle. Loot the chest and acquire a Magical Energy Shard. Head back to the fire and loot the chest to find Tribute and an Attribute Point Shard. Leave the Infinite Void and head to the Abandoned Range (past the Last Traitor Statue).

Abandoned Range

Head through the Eternal Flame and Panorama to the Abandoned Range. Once there go straight and to the right (where the Tyrant was that you killed when here earlier). Head up to the stairs and go left on to the cliff side. Crippled Rhogar will be here and you can give him the rest of your skulls. If you do a Wizard and two large shield Rhogar will attack you. After you kill them, kill Crippled Rhogar and acquire the trinket, Leech. Head left up the stairs and into the Sacred Hallways and down to your left and back around to The Portal.

The Portal

Once inside the Portal, speak with Yetka and give her any Ancient Plates you have to gain Spell Point Shard. Shoot the barrier with your Gauntlet and pull the lever. Press on into the Altar Ruins.

Altar Ruins

Kill the Wizard and loot the chest to reveal Demon Assassin Chest or Effect Armor piece or Fallen Chest Armor. Head into the door and kill the Ghost on the right. Head further right and kill the Large Archer and loot the chest next to him to get, Justice. Head into the main room and speak with Yetka and head across the room through the other doorway. Head left and kill the Ghost. Go up the stairs and do a 180. Kill the Ghost and loot the The Blacksmith Chest Key from his corpse. There is a pressure plate on the ground that opens the gate at the bottom of the stairs. Inside is a chest containing Nado. Head back the way you just came and head to the right of the next set of stairs. Kill the enemy and loot Demon Assassin Wrist or Effect Armor piece. Past that there is a lore, Runes, and a gate that opens a shortcut. Head back a bit and go up the stairs you just ran past. Kill the Large enemy at the top, pull the lever and loot the sealed rune chest containing Demon Assassin Legs and Head or Effect Armor pieces. Now head back down to Yetka, shoot the seal with your Gauntlet and enter the Chamber of Lies.

The Catacombs are clearly much older than the rest of Keystone. Who knows who built them and what was their original purpose. They still have many more uses than just a place to bury the dead. There’s a lot of loot and even more tough opponents in the Catacombs. It is also relatively complex and maze-like location. Your main goal is the Champion boss at the final arena, but to open the arena you have to make sure you pull the big lever that is just above its gate MapScrollIcon_small.png 23. Look for it on the upper circle of cells, surrounding the arena. Start the boss fight after saving your game at the nearby Shard MapScrollIcon_small.png 24 . After having defeated the boss, you should be greeted by one of Antanas’ guards, who invites you into the Citadel through the door nearby MapScrollIcon_small.png 25 .

From the entrance, defeat the first enemy and continue forward

New Burial Chambers

To your right, there is a rune door that holds a chest with the My Axe greataxe. Further ahead, a passage opens to the right and you will note a door to open. Kill the enemy and retrieve a Human Skull in the same room as the Dimension Portal for this area. Backtrack to the pathway before this door and continue on deeper.

Old Burial Chambers

The door after the three enemies here has a chest with Grip. Continuing on this path, another door will reveal an ambushing spider on the ceiling. Deal with it and then open the room's chest with the Living Legend Head, Chest and Legs. Head down the stairs just past the room and kill the two enemies there and pick up the Human Skull. Then head left up the stairs (grab the other Human Skull), kill the enemies, and pick up the lore Purification. Then open the sealed rune chest that contains the Cold Blood Chest, Wrist and Legs, and hit the switch to open the shortcut to the checkpoint. Then head back down the stairs. Go straight ahead into the tunnel looking area and take a second set of stairs down. There will be a couple of enemies there, kill them and break the barrels to reveal a Magic Energy Shard. Also Nearby is a pit with some wooden boards over top, careful here, make sure you either jump over it or keep you armor weight below 23.75, as any weight above this will cause the boards to collapse and you will die.

The Mines

Upon entering the mines there will be a shield enemy and a door to your left. Inside the room there is a lore ( Kyle's Sword) and the tomb of Sir Samwhel of Aron. Note this room as you can place Heirloom atop the tomb and it will upgrade it. Continuing on down the corridor there will be a room with a large shield enemy and archer. At the other side of the room is a door that takes you to the Burnt Watchtower. Head back through the mines to the Old Burial Chamber. Turn right coming out of The Mines and head up the stairs to the Royal Tomb.

Royal Tomb

On the left will be a Human Skull, grab that and head right through the door and into the room across the hall. Kill the enemy and pick up the lore, Mutations. There is a trophy for kicking a corpse into the pit in this room and you can do that while you are here. Head back out the door and turn right and go down. There is a Small Sealed Rune and some boards on the right that you can break through that lead to the Collapsed Tunnel.

Collapsed Tunnel

There is a locked door on your left that opens with a pressure plate, a path leading up on the right and a door past that on the left that contains Bloodsick. If you head up the path there is a Human Skull directly above it, another by a locked door to Champion (that will open after you defeat him) and a pressure plate that opens the locked door below. In the locked room there is a Human Skull and Twinkling Axe. Head back the way you came, towards the Royal Tomb. Go straight and jump the plank and pick up another Human Skull and enter the Well of Death.

Well of Death

Kill the large Rhogar here and pick up the lore, Care (to the right of the entrance). To the right, behind a wall is a chest containing the Harmony Armor Set. If you head straight (from the entrance) you will go back to the New Burial Chamber. You can go up stairs on either side, but if you take an immediate left (from the entrance) you will go to The Pit.

The Pit

Entering The Pit there is a Human Skull on the ground and you will be ambushed by several enemies immediately. There is a sealed rune chest here. Open it to find Scab. Kill the large Rhogar and use the pressure plate to open the first door on the left of the next hallway and acquire Bloodlust from the statue in this room (there is also an Energy Shard in a pot). Past that door is another door on the right containing a spider on the ceiling and the lore, End of the Line. Continuing on will lead you to an area we will come through later, so head back to the Well of Death and head up the stairs to Cell Circle.

Cell Circle

Kill the large shield Rhogar and roll through some barrels on the right to reveal a passage with a room on the right. In the room is an Energy Shard and Blacksmith station. Up ahead is a door that will be unlocked later on. Head back and roll under the gate and go right. There is a lore, Doubts on the ground behind a cage on the left wall. There is a Magic Energy Shard in the barrels. Up ahead is a checkpoint and some enemies. Kill them and head up the stairs and to the right. Kill the archer and open the chest to obtain Living Legend Head and Wrist and an Attribute Point Shard. Head back down to the checkpoint and grab the Human Skull. Head left and pull the lever on the left wall. The first door opened contains an enemy and the lore, Blind Fury. The second door contains an enemy and a Human Skull. The third door contains an enemy.

Continuing on there are 2 Human Skulls on the ground. Pull the next lever and kill the enemy in the first door and pick up Vanguard Blade. The second door contains a Human Skull. The third door contains an enemy. Up ahead is an Infested Monk, a Hound and a Human Skull. If you talk to him he will tell you that he wants you to open his cell and kill him. You will need to grab the Lever Handle from a room up ahead and come back and use it on a gear missing a lever nearby.

Going forward there is another lever on the left. In the first door is an enemy and the lore, Politicals. There is a breakable wall on the right side of this room that contains the hammer Heirloom. You can upgrade this weapon in the room mentioned in The Mines section. The second room contains a Human Skull. The third door contains the lore, The Branded. Up ahead is a large lever that is one of the two levers needed to open Champion's room. Pull it and grab the Human Skull on the ground just past it. You can go left or straight at the statue, we're going to go straight.

There is a door on the left. Open it and pick up the Lever Handle. Up ahead is another lever on the left, pull it. The first door it opens contains the lore, Sven's Hammer. The second door reveals a passage to the Blacksmith station that you were at before. Moving forward there is a Human Skull and the checkpoint from before. Head back to the Infested Monk and use the Lever Handle to open his cell. Kill him to acquire a Spell Point Shard. Turn around and go to the cell next to him and pick up Blocker. The third door opened with the Lever Handle contains a Human Skull.

Past the lever that opens Champion's room again, now go left. There are some cells on the left. 2 contain Monks that were imprisoned. You can only save one of them with the Cell Key in the chest next to them. Use the lever next to the chest to open the gate and kill the enemies there, grab the lore, Deep Down and head down the stairs to the right. If you head left you will head back to The Pit. Hit the checkpoint and kill the shield enemy beneath the stairs.

Monster Prison

Grab the Human Skull immediately to the right, kill the spider and pick up the lore, Troublemakers. Pull the lever up ahead and open the gate to Champion. There is large gate that was shown during Champion's intro scene. It will open and there will be loot inside once you defeat Beast. After defeating Champion, an NPC will appear and a door will open to the right. There is a Human Skull on the ground and the door directly inside will take you the Keystone Citadel and up the stairs to the left are some enemies and the lore, Troublemaker. Pulling the lever will open a shortcut to Cell Circle. Head back down the stairs and through the door to Flooded Halls.

Catacombs Revisted


Once inside the Catacombs head right, kill the Rhogar and head down the passage way on the right (second door). Take an immediate right, kill the Rhogar and use the Dimension Portal that is now opened since you killed Champion. Inside is a Proving Grounds, and if completed, contains a chest with a Spell Point Shard, Empty Bottle and Life Leech. After completing the Portal, head back to the entrance of the Catacombs, and go left (through the shortcut you opened when you were here) and head down the stairs to the left. Kill the archer and go up the stairs to the left. Head to the right and go through the door and across into the room. There will be a corpse laying on the ground near the pit. If you knock it in you will get the Fool of a Tuck Trophy/Acheivement and will be ambushed by a Hound. Go out the door, and head down the stairs to your now left and head through The Mines to the Collapsed Tunnel. Head up the ramp and head through the door on the right (now open) and into Champion's room. Beast's cage will now be open on your left and the lore, More Than Human, Vicious Prison and I Swear to Him will be on the ground. The chest contains Persistence Head and a Ghost Merge Shard. Head back to the Abandoned Temple (rhogar realm) through the graveyard now.

Walkthrough

You will have to explore both parts of the Chamber to pull two levers MapScrollIcon_small.png 38 that will pave way to the Primeval Armorer MapScrollIcon_small.png 32 , but the order is up to you. Once you reach the Primeval, Yetka’s quest will reach its conclusion and you will be allowed to proceed to the last Boss - Annihilator MapScrollIcon_small.png 33 .

When you defeat The Annihilator, you will now be able to face Adyr - the god. After your encounter, Kaslo will appear and explain that something’s happening in Keystone. You will be sent inside the Citadel.

Southern Edge

Inside this area there will be a checkpoint to your right, 2 claw Rhogar and a Tyrant. It can be very difficult as there are worse enemies up the stairs. Loot the urn, pick up the Tyrant Heart and kill the enemies. Pick up the Void Shield from a loot shard and hit he lever to the right (looking out over the void). This will open a gate on the other side (note Annihilator's Portal here). Head up the stairs and head left. Open the door and kill the Wizard. Loot the chest and acquire Reminder and Fallen Wrist. Head back through the door and kill the Large enemy and loot the lore, God's Plan. Shoot the barrier and kill the Ghost. There is a chest at the end of the corridor. It contains Glow and Fallen Head and Legs. Head back and to the right, there is a doorway here.

Southern Ancient Trap

There is a Blacksmith Station on your left and enemy on your right. If you break the pot in the corner you will loot a Small Sealed Rune. Head forward and pull the lever. It will lower the platform to Annihilator by a little bit. Shoot the barrier immediately to your left and go through the door.

Sacred Hallways & The Portal

This will take you to the Sacred Hallways. Head to The Portal, which is straight and down the stairs. Kill the 2 Tyrants and loot the 2 urns containing their Tyrant Hearts. One will drop the Polesword Jaw. Head back to the Sacred Hallways, and return to the entrance from the Abandoned Range. Kill the Rhogar and loot the chest next to the Blacksmith location and pressure plate at the end of the hall to reveal Velocity and Fire Resistance Shard. Backtrack down the hallway and head out the door to your left into the Abandoned Range.

Abandoned Range, Eternal Flame

Head straight, then do a 180, kill the Large Tree monster and head up the path to The Last Traitor Statue. Head left and then go right down the ramp into Eternal Flame. There will be 2 large monsters here, so be careful. Kill them and then shoot the seal with your Gauntlet and loot the chest on the left. It contains Faith Chest and Head. Head through the door at the end of the hallway to the Chamber Entrance.

Chamber Entrance

Inside the Chamber, there is a chest to your right and Yetka to your left. The chest contains Last Will and Fiery Witholder. If you speak with Yetka she will give you the lore, God's Wrath, Fire in the Sky, Prayers, Ultimate Sin and the Stone of Divine Understanding. You can use this stone to decipher the runes on walls which contain more lore. If you use the runes next to you, you will acquire the lore, The Triumph. The urn containing the Tyrant Heart is through the first door on the left (up the short stairs and immediately to the right). There is a First Warden here and a checkpoint. Up the stairs are two more enemies and a chest containing Eternal Legend Head. Head back out and to the main chamber and kill the wizard (if you haven't already) and the Tyrant.

Northern Edge

Head left and kill the two claw enemies. and grab the lore Their Image, to the left. Head through the now open door next to it, jump across and collect the Staff's Head from the chest (you will need this later). Head back and go right (the passageway to the right of the barrier, but not to the Chamber Entrance). Kill the Wizard here and head up the stairs. Carefully shoot the two large spiders from the ceiling with your gauntlet in this next room and be careful not to fall in the holes here. There are some little spiders to kill as well. There is a locked door to the left of where you come in that requires the Right Wing Key. A door all the way to the right (past the holes and spiders) and a door to the right of this door that is sealed by runes. Inside is a chest containing Weapon Hilt and Spine Slasher. Past it is a shortcut door. Open it and head back and go to the right and kill the spiders. There is a Blacksmith Station here. Head up the stairs and get the lore item You Are Safe. It's on the right here and can be hard to see as it is mostly under the floor.

Kill the wizard and kill the two archers in the next room. One of the them drops the Right Wing Key, which opens the door that was locked in the room with spiders above. Equip the Staff's Head and stand in front of the odd gated door to open it and gain the Unity staff. Carefully drop down to the room below that had the spiders and open the locked door. Again watch out for the holes. In this room is Crusher and Eternal Legend Chest. Head back up to where the archers were (where you just were) and go straight (don't jump across). In the next room is Tor on the ground to the right. You will use this to destroy statues and gain the Last Traitor Armor Set. Kill the Wizard and Tyrant (whose Heart jar is located to the left of the lever) and throw the lever behind them. Use your gauntlet on the shortcut and then head left and open the door. There is a Wizard here. Kill him and grab the Empty Bottle on a ledge above the stairs that you must jump to. Be careful not to over jump and fall to your death. Now head back the room with the archers.

One there jump across and open the door on the right and kill the Tyrant. Go left down the hallway. Be careful not to get ambushed by the large Rhogar in the hallway on the left. Kill both Rhogar and open the shortcut door on your right then head down the hallway that was on your left (now right). Kill the ghost and the Wizard at the end of the hallway and head left to the chest that contains Fallen Chest Armor. Open the sealed rune door opposite the chest and head down to the checkpoint. Head back to the main room (to your right) and head left down the stairs, and shoot the portal on the right. Head through it to the Cave of Lies.

Cave of Lies

Once inside kill the enemy to your right and then make your way down to the large demon. There is an exploding elemental and a Ghost on the way down, so be careful not to fall off. Once down, hit the lever on the right to trigger a dialogue with Yetka. If you let her leave with the demon you will get the trophy She Was The Last Woman Here. Having pulled all three levers, you are now ready to face Annihilator. Go back up the steps and back the way you came and towards the checkpoint. Smash the statue just before it with the Tor hammer to receive a piece of the Last Traitor Armor Set. Head through the portal and go up into Eternal Flame. Head right up the ramp and break the statue to the left (again with Tor) to receive another piece of the Last Traitor Armor Set. Head down the path to the right of the statue and go straight, then right (like you were heading to Infiltrator. Once in The Portal (the area where you fight him), head into the Abandoned Temple. Head up to the second floor checkpoint and destroy the 3rd statue. Drop down and head through the big door where there was a gate and portal. Kill the two small claw guys and head up the stairs. On the left-hand side is the 4th and final statue that contains the last piece of the Last Traitor Armor Set. Head up the stairs to the right of the statue and across the now lowered bridge and fight Annihilator. Be sure to pick up the lore Lost Memories on the bridge. You will receive Lightning for defeating him. Head through the portal behind him and you will receive another armor set by attacking the phantoms here.

Walkthrough

Once inside the Keystone Citadel, your main path is up all the levels to the top of it, where Antanas awaits you. On your way you will meet the Guard Captain once more MapScrollIcon_small.png 26 , and when you reach the circular staircase, there’s a lift on top of it MapScrollIcon_small.png 27 that will take you into the Solitude overlooking the whole Keystone MapScrollIcon_small.png 28 .

    • Antanas, the leader of humans, was the goal of your journey all this time. Is your quest reaching its conclusion, or is this just the beginning?

Kaslo asks you to clear out his Planetarium, from the Rhogar. It is back inside, one floor down from the elevator MapScrollIcon_small.png 29 . Once the Planetarium is clear, your main quest is updated - Kaslo and Antanas explain your next task, which is bringing the fight back to the Fallen God. You are to return to the Abandoned Temple, kill the remaining Rhogar Lords and then face the god. Once you leave the Citadel through a big doors MapScrollIcon_small.png 37 , a huge beast will break free from the chapel on the Square of the Judges MapScrollIcon_small.png 10 in the Keystone Monastery. After killing it, a guard will appear and ask for your help. At this point you can either explore the Citadel and the outside of the Monastery for a few sidequests or proceed to the Abandoned Temple.

After Killing Annihilator

Here you will have to face the Lost Brothers boss MapScrollIcon_small.png 34 before you meet Guard Captain again MapScrollIcon_small.png 35 . Head towards the Solitude MapScrollIcon_small.png 28 , where you met Antanas for the first time. On your way there you will meet Crafter MapScrollIcon_small.png 36 who will help you make use of the rune Adyr gave you. Save the game, because what awaits you upstairs is your final battle.

Item Walkthrough


Flooded Halls

After completing the Catacombs, you will enter the Keystone Citadel in the Flooded Halls. There will be a checkpoint immediately inside and some stairs. Head up the stairs and pick up the lore, New Disciple immediately to your right. Kill the First Warden enemy and pick up the Human Skull from the loot shard on the left. There is a Blacksmith Station and a door up ahead. Head through the door and up the stairs to the Main Hall.

Main Hall

Kill the Rhogar enemy and pick up the lore, Judge Disciple. Head up either stairwell and kill the enemies there (be careful, there is a nasty wizard at the end of the hall and two enemies will spawn behind you). The first door on your left contains 2 lore, Old Priest and Join Me. The next door on the left is a sealed rune door and contains a chest that is locked and requires the Main Hall Key, which you will find much later in the game. The room on the right is gated and will open later in the game *the key is actually accessible early on in the game if you shield bash through the breakable wall (it provides a tutorial for this) in the first map after defeating the first boss fight - it is difficult area early due to many corrupted spiders that drop down*. Pressing on you will fight another First Warden and a Rhogar. Pass the locked gate on your left and head into the Inner Chamber.

Inner Chamber

Kill the large Rhogar with a shield and pick up Gargoyle and Hawk from a loot shard near the statue on the left. Head up the stairs and kill a couple more Rhogar and speak with the Guard Captain. To his right all the way over is a lore, Angry Priest. The door on your left contains the Injured Monk (if you helped him) and the lore, The Rebel. If you speak to the Monk he will ask you to clear out his laboratory in the Southern Watchtower (where the Large Spider is early in the game). The room on the right contains injured soldiers and a breakable wall that contains the Will Armor Set. Forward there is a lore, Books and stairs leading up. Head past the soldier to the checkpoint and Blacksmithing Station and then go up the lift to Anatans. Be sure to grab the lore, I Swear to Her while you are up there.

Planetarium

Head back down the lift and then down the stairs to where the soldier was. Head through the now open door and kill the enemies below. There will be 2 locked chests in this room that will open with the Planetarium Chest Key (you will get this much later in the game) and one chest that contains the Harmony shield. Head to the right and kill the two Rhogar there and open the chest at the back right of this room to acquire Dimensions Armor Set. In the next room there are more enemies, a locked chest, that also opens with the Planetarium Chest Key and a locked door that opens with a pressure plate. Head back to the first room in the Planetarium and go left now. Use Prayer on the pressure plate and run back to the locked door to find the Blessing Armor Set. Up the stairs is one last First Warden (BE VERY CAREFUL TO NOT DIE AT THE SAME TIME AS HIM OR YOUR GAME MAY BUG AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE). After speaking with Antanas and Kaslo head back down towards the Flooded Halls, and shoot the large door with the spinning blue seal with your Gauntlet. Open it and head into the Square of the Heroes.

Square of the Heroes

Once in the Square of the Heroes, moving forward a little will trigger the Beast boss fight. You can use the [[@Shard of the Heroes] during this fight (if you haven't already) to acquire 1 of 3 weapons. After defeating Beast pick up Stain and a Big Sealed Rune. An NPC will appear behind where you came in and he will ask you to help him with a quest inside the Citadel. The Planetarium Piece is in a loot shard next to the NPC. You will give this to Antanas shortly.

Southern Watchtower

Head to the Southern Watchtower and head down to where the Large Spider was there and speak with the Injured Monk. He will ask you to give him Tyrant Hearts. Give him the 4 you have and he will upgrade your Health Potions. You can bring him up to 10 and he will further enhance them. Head back to the Keystone Citadel and go in the large door you came out to fight Beast, go up the stairs and go in the first door on your right to the Old Quarters.

Old Quarters

Kill the enemies and break the breakable wall on the right side of the room. Head into the next room, kill the enemy and use the pressure plate next to the Dimension Portal to open the locked door inside the room you opened with the breakable wall. You will acquire a Spell Point Shard and a Poison Resistance Shard. Head back towards the Dimension Portal, but go down the stairs instead. Kill the enemies and pick up a Human Skull. Head down the stairs to the left and pick up Curse from a loot shard.

Initiation Room

Then head up to the Main Hall and speak with soldier NPC outside the Initiation Room. Head inside andd kill the monster. Be careful as he isn't one you have faced yet. Return to the soldier and speak with him to acquire 7500xp. Head in to the Northern Wing.

Northern Wing

Kill the enemies and head down the stairs and the next set and go through the door at the bottom. The room on to the left of this room has a breakable wall. Break through it and pick up the loot shard containing Cellar Small Key.

Celllars

Heading into the next room there is a locked door in front of you, which opens with the Cellar Key (you will get this key later) and a Large Spider to your right. Kill the Spider and head straight ahead and kill the Rhogar. Pick up a Human Skull and kill the next Rhogar. Pick up the lore, Point Three and head down to the right and pull the lever to open the shortcut to the Northern Wing ( Keystone Tutorial area). Head through the shortcut, fight through the first couple of enemies and go up the stairs to grab the Northern Monastery Wing Chest Key on a loot shard. Head back through the shortcut and kill the Spider ahead and pick up a Human Skull. There is a breakable wall here containing an Empty Bottle. Head further down the stairs, down the corridor and roll under the gated door on your right. Pick up the lore, Dirty Work and use the pressure plate to open the locked door across from you and down the stairs to your left (first door). There is a spider outside and one inside. Pick up Needles on a loot shard and use the hanging corpse to reveal the Citadel Cellar Key. Use the lever in the corner to reopen the door. Head left and open the door at the end of the corridor on the left. There is a checkpoint here, along with the Main Hall Chest Key.

Head up to the Main Hall and open the Main Hall chest (sealed rune door) to receive The Cocoon. Next head to the Planetarium and open the two chests here that contain Persistence Chest, Legs and Wrist. Finally, speak with Antanas, tell him about Beast and give him the Planetarium Piece and get 1500xp.

Keystone Citadel Revisited


=Flooded Halls

You return to the Citadel after speaking with Kaslo. Immediately behind you is a chest containing a Spell Point Shard and a Poison Resistance Shard. There is a Dimension Portal to the right, it is a challenge portal. Complete it to receive Ceremonial Axe, Attribute Shard and Spell Point Shard. Head out of the portal and face the Lost Brothers. You will get Defender for killing them. Which version you get depends on the order you kill them. Whichever brother you kill last will grant a 100% resistance shield of that type (lightning or fire) and return that damage type upon blocking.

Old Quarters

Head into the Old Quarters and go left and kill the 2 enemies here. Pick up the lore, The Results and go up the stairs and kill the archer and go into the Dimension Portal here and loot the Lords Armor Set and Stare. Head out of the portal and go straight through the door. go right and then head left. Kill all the enemies and grab the lore Guard Orders. One of the enemies here will drop the cellar key, which can be used to open the very first door behind the hidden wall in Keystone Monastery which holds the hammer Law if you want it. Head back towards the other end of the hall. Kill the guard captain and grab The Great Burden, Antanas's Will and Southern Trench Key.

Lords of the Fallen has multiple endings depending on player choices. Below are a list of possible conclusions to Harkyn's story, as well as the choices that took him to that result.

Other actions that affect your ending sequence:

1. Picking up the Planetarium Piece (directly to the right of the Citadel front door after defeating the Beast) and giving it to Antanas, who will then give some vague clues towards later events and bosses in the game.
2. Choosing to free the monster that Yetka seeks so she may join her mother, or killing it instead.
3. Choosing to confront Antanas about his dark experiments or ignore it (to confront Antanas, first return to where the Champion in the Catacombs was fought and check the 3 Audio Logs and open the chest in the newly opened adjoining room - the same room the Champion was trying to open in the cutscene when first entering the area. Now return to the Planetarium in the Citadel and confront Antanas and inform Kaslo. This was initially bugged as the ending would say the player ignored it even if Kaslo talked to Antanas, but seems to have been patched).
4. Helping various NPCs in their quests or ignoring/killing them.
5. Using magic or just physical attacks to defeat Rhogar lords.

New Game Plus is a continued playthrough in Lords of the Fallen, and it starts automatically when you defeat the last boss.

Replayability

After you beat the game (defeat the last boss), you can resume playing from the beginning with the same character. You can do it twice (NewGame+ and NewGame++), and after completing the game for the third time you need to create a new character slot. There are couple of things that change on NewGame+ and NewGame++. Enemies are stronger and yield more Experience. Second spell tree can be unlocked on NewGame+ and a third one on NewGame++. Also, there are items to be found only on NewGame+ (and one weapon on NewGame++). There are three “main” game endings (depicted by the main cinematic after defeating the final boss and meaning different endings of the war between humans and demons). Also, there are many more “side” endings (depicted by a simple cinematic where the narrator wraps up all the story threads).

Changes to the game

After your fight with the last boss, called Judge, you will watch a cutscene, and then you'll be back at the main game menu.
From the main menu you choose continue. Your save file will now have a NG+ notice.
Lords of the Fallen has a limit of 2 New Game Plus (NG+ and NG++).
From NG to NG+ the game difficulty increases, a new skill tree is unlocked and there will be new lore pieces to be found.
From NG+ to NG++ the game difficulty increases even more and another new skill tree is unlocked.
Chests that contain weapons or armour that already has been obtained contain random typed shards. In NG+ and NG++ Attribute Point Shards make it possible to reach very high levels. The chance of obtaining such shards is determined by the Luck Attribute of the player.

Preparing for NG+

Try to reach level 50~60 before moving on to NG+ to make enemies not as difficult on the next cycle.
Remember to finish all your side quests before going into NG+. You can farm enemies in all locations for xp, simply by going in and out to other location via loading menu.
You should also use your Shard of Heroes if you haven't, since it will vanish with game start (you will receive a new one). Doing so you should consider raising your Luck Attribute.
You should explore for secrets now, as all your keys will be taken from you.
You should check the Lore page to determine if you are missing any audionotes.
